Rackometry privacy

Privacy policy

Rackometry is a product of KMB IT Solutions Ltd (company number 10463447). This policy explains how information is handled by the Rackometry application.

Information stored by the app

Rackometry is designed as an offline-first application. Rack plans, equipment specifications, asset information, serial numbers, hostnames, PDU configurations and related records are stored locally on the user’s device unless the user deliberately exports or shares them.

Import and export

Users control any files they import into or export from Rackometry. Exported files are handled through Apple’s standard sharing controls and the destinations selected by the user.

Online services

The current application does not require an online equipment-specification provider. If optional online services are introduced, this policy will be updated before those services are made available.

Retention and deletion

Local application data remains on the user’s device until the user edits or deletes it, removes the application, or erases the device. KMB IT Solutions Ltd cannot access locally stored rack data.
