Bring existing rack records into Rackometry.

Import, map, audit and export

Rackometry is designed to complement the system your organisation already uses. Export the racks you need, map the headings during import, verify the records on site and export the confirmed result.

Minimum rack columns

A file needs Record Type, Rack Name, Rack Units and Cabinet Depth mm so Rackometry can create the cabinet records.

Key equipment columns

For an equipment record, the essential placement values are manufacturer, model, height in rack units, starting U and chassis depth. Other supported fields can be mapped as they are available.

Recommended audit workflow

Keep the original file unchanged. Import a working copy, confirm each rack, record expected-versus-observed differences, then export a new file. Review it before it is uploaded to a production DCIM or asset system.
